Alibaba is a Chinese manufacturing company. It grew to this giant of a company partly by
outsourcing its website design and development work to a company that was based in the
United States.
Outsourcing benefitted this company greatly because at the time, there was a scarcity of
talented developers in China.
Alibaba’s main values include the customer as priority. Their mission statement is “To
make it easy to do business anywhere.” (company overview, 2016, para.1)
I haven’t purchased anything from this company. b However, I have browsed their website
and they literally have everything!
