Human Services Organization Identification
The agency I selected is Peachford Hospital in Dunwoody, Georgia. The rationale for me
choosing this agency is the commitment they must provide beyond expectational care to
their clients, not to mention they provide care to clients from as young as four years old
to the elderly as old as sixty-five years old as well as mental health and substance abuse
care.
I have considered several other agencies such as the Ga Department for Children &
Family Services, and Ga Department of Corrections. The reason for which I did not select
those agencies is that I am particularly interested in working with mental health and
substance abuse clients and both agencies work with a variety of clients.
I would love to be employed by this agency because I am eager to contribute to the
agency's efforts to improve the lives of their clients and I believe that my skills and
experience would make me a valuable addition to the team.
This agency offers a variety of services including different children's programs,
adolescent programs, along with different adult and senior programs. Some programs are
Partial Hospitalization, Acute Outpatient, Intense Outpatient, and even a Residential
Program.
Some professionals that work at this agency are Social Workers, Case Managers,
Administrative Staff, and even Therapist.
