JetBlue and I really feel like this company could benefit from the trend of robo-analyst. There is so
much data that could be gathered to find trends from customer service to internally within JetBlue
in the different departments. The help that JetBlue could get with customer service could boost
sales and help to train employees to learn how to deal with and interact with the customers. This
in turn could help lower negative customer interactions and the issues that come with those. This
could also help to attract more investors who see a positively growing company.
Company: Nike
All companies can benefit from the recent trend of rob analytics/rob analysts. The faster and more
accurate information is obtained, the faster management can make better decisions for the
company. Specifically for a global company such as Nike, more accurate analytics can help them
determine under and over performing markets. This could lead to investment dollars being used in
those markets. Additionally, it could identify new markets to invest in, especially in comparison to
their competitors 10Ks and 10Qs.
Disney and I do believe they will be impacted if they have not already by this trend. I also think
that there are some good things that can come out of it. Disney has a lot of money and they might
not necessarily know where to invest it. With this type of advisor, it can save a lot of money
because instead of investing money in someone to advise you, this is being done by machines.
This can be beneficial to a lot of companies who might not ordinarily have the money to spend on
these services. This also means that the accessibility of this product is more readily available to
other companies. There are some downfalls as well, for instance, the analyses are very generic,
they are not personalized to the customer and different for all companies being analysed. Overall,
for Disney they can compare their theme parks and hotels to other competing theme parks. This
can be done easier and faster than using people to analyse their findings. The only downside
would be that the information that would be gathered is not very in-depth or personalized to
Disney.
Company is Tesla. It will be beneficial for this Robo-Analysts. Because Robo-Analysts have a unique
advantage. The advantage is fair. It also has very reliable reports for investors. A computer system
will analyse anything with the same rules without emotions. Also, a computer system can save all
dates for million companies. It can support the results. For a company like Tesla, it is a new
technology company. To invest in a new technology means a lot of risk. With Robo-Analysts,
investors will have more confidence to invest in Tesla.
