A quote from an anonymous writer: "I find it hard to believe that a long time ago all the Continents were either one land mass or touched one another!! As the Earth was formed, why would land be concentrated in one part of the globe while the remaining 75% was covered in water? The continental drift theory makes no sense to me!!"

For discussion: How would you answer the anonymous writer? If you agree with him/her, what specifics or alternate theory might you suggest?  If you disagree with him/her, what evidence do you have to support Wegener's theory?
