Critical Thinking is looking at a situation on a deeper level and formulating your own
opinion. The same applies when trying to resolve a problem or refine an approach.
The modern world provides these in abundance and readily available via social
media, which is why it's so important to be careful and find what you believe and
best fits your situation. Critical thinking requires open mindedness and effective
communication. People aren't always going to agree, and that is what makes us so
special. Individuality leads to innovation. Conformity can be ideal, if like minds share
the same vision or passion. If it's forced it can be destructive, which is why it's
important to ask questions and be willing and open to intellectual discussion.
Personally, I enjoyed the video's. They were a good refresher and help set the tone
for this week's material. It's easy to forget how vital critical thinking is and how we
use it every day & don't even realize it.
