Strategic Communication Case Study 2
Introduction
Context
The “BlewMinds: Leveraging Influencer Communication Strategies’ case study addresses the
company BlewMinds Consulting LLP founded by Sandeep Kochhar and his wife Vishwapriya
in 2016.
The businesses specialize in using storytelling approaches and offer mentoring,
conferences, speaking assignments, training, and other services to both businesses and people.
Due to Sandeep's strong social media following, a large number of clients accompanied
BlewMinds. His effective use of social media and unique narrative techniques in his articles
inspired trust among his fans. A distinct thinking style is revealed to the customer by
concentrating on coaching with storytelling. Individuals who used BlewMinds activities
received the abilities necessary to advance through self-analysis and inner proficiency.
Businesses started looking to him for his expertise and strategy to use this method to
solve certain problems the company ran across. The founders must choose how to administer
and provide facilities when their needs increase without sacrificing either the level of their
offerings or the standards that customers have established. The Kochhars made the original
decision to prioritize quality over quantity when selecting the proposals to approve. They
established their company to have an effect and with the best goals in mind. They were just
two BlewMinds workers at the moment, so they took care not to take on multiple tasks so they
could devote their full focus to every single one.
At BlewMinds, Vishwapriya leveraged her experience to supervise the hiring and
training of competent workers. She was aware of the need for employees' aims, beliefs, and
mindset to be in line with BlewMinds, an organization whose key principles are respect,
compassion, kindness, and honesty. These qualities were essential for the company.
Regardless of their divergent views and cultural diversity, the two co-founders asked staff

members to appreciate one another's viewpoints. Individuals at BlewMinds needed to be
enthusiastic, quick-thinking, independent, and motivated to gain knowledge.
Sandeep added many ideas to the company's services during the course of his
storytelling services, featuring three specific leadership concepts: the Delivery, Content, and
Evidence framework, which stressed the importance of following a method when presenting
powerful stories; the second, the Gravitas Leadership model, which assisted leaders in
discovering the "something" about themselves that set them ahead of the competition; and the
third the Intent versus Impact framework, that assisted leaders in realizing how impact
exceeds motivation.
However, there are certain issues involved, such as Sandeep being the only member of
the BlewMinds crew who could build a connection with the audience while engaging in
storytelling. In one situation, when an honest and experienced senior consultant was requested
to lead a storytelling session, he found himself reluctant to connect with the audience since
they didn't feel like they engaged in conversation with the real person presenting the story.
The next issue addresses that Sandeep is the sole member of the group who is able to
connect with the audience while telling stories. Nobody else in the company's crew is a
storyteller who can easily remove barriers before expressing their point of view. Sandeep is the
only person in BlewMinds who can modify the filters rapidly in an identical way.
The following issue shows that Sandeep's profile on the social media network
LinkedIn had a major role in attracting customers to BlewMinds. The company didn't utilize
any other social media platforms except that to communicate with and interact with its target
market.
The next issue involves BlewMinds' capacity to increase the number of people it
became able to impact throughout its history has been constrained by the absence of
significant social media influencers, except Sandeep.

Communication goals
In response to the presented issues, there are certain communication goals which are
beneficial in addressing the above issues related to BlewMinds.
The primary goal of the communication is to inspire the team members to participate in
the storytelling exercise by exhibiting confidence, empathy, and compassion toward the
audience participants. The targeted audience for the communication goal includes the internal
team members of BlewMinds. Sandeep can use a face-to-face communication strategy to
accomplish the issue in BlewMinds. Face-to-face contact is important in the workplace to
maintain team spirit (Ali et al., 2021)
The communication's other goal is to demonstrate to the participants how Sandeep
builds interactions with his listeners before sharing his narratives, experiences, and
viewpoints. It may help them understand how to approach the audience in an effort to create an
impression on them through their storytelling. The targeted audience for the above
communication goal is the consultants in BlewMinds who are willing to participate in the
story telling. Here, the communication strategy to accomplish this issue can be addressed by
introducing video conferencing as a useful communication tool (Nonthamand, 2020). This
will help demonstrate to the team members at BlewMinds how Sandeep communicates with
his audiences.
Third, the communication's goal is to increase awareness of Sandeep's excellent
storytelling talent in order to ensure a greater audience would be inspired to devote time to his
story telling. It will present a chance for BlewMinds to increase its client and consumer base
and achieve its goal of affecting 5 billion lives by 2030. The targeted audience for the above
communication goal is intended for both current BlewMinds supporters and followers and
new persons the business hasn't yet contacted. The Communication strategy to accomplish the
Strategic Communication Case Study 5
issue can be addressed by using major social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and
Instagram to communicate (Atiq et al., 2022). In order to communicate with influencers
efficiently on social media, Sandeep could try other sites.
Lastly, the goal of the communication is to assist BlewMinds in broadening their
storytelling narration through well-known social media influencers. Utilizing effective
marketing for the BlewMinds company will play a crucial part in growing its present
audience. The targeted audience for the above communication goal includes Potential
consumers of BlewMinds. The strategy will allow the company to connect with those it has
previously been unable to interact with. The communication strategy to accomplish the above
issue involves new motivational videos created by other influencers on the internet that can be
released on a special website that Sandeep can design for BlewMind. To increase the effect of
the stories and communication, he can collaborate with well-known and recognized social
media influencers (Borchers, 2019).
