Recommendation
The individuals who can form, direct, and maintain the change process of selling the
organization are those who are identified by a steering coalition inside the organization. Within
the organization, the governing coalition must have unambiguous goals, trust, knowledge,
credibility, leadership, and management (Carpen, 2021). The organization's exit strategy must be
evaluated, and the strategic planning team must then suggest changes to the board of directors.
But before we can achieve that, we must decide on our coalition for leadership.
Rationale
Omar Mattsson, John Martensson, Elaine Hartwick, and Chris Botting will make up the
directing coalition team based on the organizational hierarchy and employee profiles. The
individuals selected to form the leading coalition have extensive managerial and team-building
background. This team is equipped to make sure the right exit plan is picked and presented to the
board of directors.
The manufacturing director for the past three years is Omar Mattson. He joined the
company after it was acquired, and he's happy with how the merger has gone thus far. He
presently oversees twelve factories with 580 hourly employees. The work satisfaction index at
Omar's is 4. (4 being highest). He is a very effective director and was in charge of establishing
the company's supply chain in the Middle East. Omar will be effective on the team since he has
