MBA 645 Discussion 7
In order to have a successful and effective leadership experience, Graham-Leviss identified five
unique leadership qualities. These abilities include risk management, curiosity display, brave
leadership, opportunity capturing, and maintaining a strategic corporate viewpoint
(Graham-Leviss, 2016). Successful leaders who can strategically manage the business have three
characteristics: managing risk, showing bravery in their leadership, and grabbing chances.
Considering that risk management includes thinking about what may go wrong, determining how
probable and/or catastrophic that would be, and taking action to avoid the issue or its effects
(Aaron, 2020), it is important to have this talent to ensure the organization's longevity. Since
brave leaders manage their teams without stifling innovation and set an example for those around
them, they are vital for good leadership because they inspire others to execute their work to the
best of their abilities (Pena, 2017). Finally, leaders should be able to take advantage of
opportunities as they arise to progress the company and the team.
