Develop a personal system to hold yourself accountable as
a leader

Module Overview
Welcome to the final week of MBA 530! In this program, you have
analyzed the effect of the VUCA world, recognized your self-
awareness, interpreted the results from various business analysis
techniques, and compared leadership skills and behaviors. You have
also identified the conditions required for improving leadership,
analyzed how leadership self-assessment tools can help in the
development of leadership strategies, and applied leadership qualities
to lead change. In this module, you will also read about and discuss the
opportunities and challenges of the fourth industrial revolution. You
will dive deeper into this content as you take more courses in this
MBA program.
You have managed to delve deeper into the evolution of leadership
skills and gained the knowledge of how to motivate others, evaluated
the personal strengths and liabilities of a leader, and interpreted
quantitative and qualitative data aggregated from multiple sources.
You can now assess the stages of leadership development and how to
best communicate your vision to effectively motivate others. While
finishing MBA 530, you have completed your graded assignments,
including your final project, and completed two courses directly related
to leadership skills sought by today’s industries: Leading vs. Managing
and Emotional Intelligence.
During the last several weeks you assessed individual leadership skills
and behaviors, as well as organizational needs, culminating in your
proposal of a comprehensive communication strategy in the project. In
this, our last module, you will have the opportunity to develop a
method to hold yourself accountable as a leader. You will also be
allowed to reflect on what you have learned during this course,
reviewing one part of our course you are most proud of discussing the
one person you learned the most from. You will share the feedback
you have received with your peers in the discussion.
