When dealing with people and their personal information, the
company being hacked can cause multiple violations and issues for
the company. Loss of the consumer, financial loss, and the reputation
of the company to name a few. In this scenario policies and
procedures should be outlined, and training should of been had
where the employee would have to sign off that they understood and
agreed. a Your belongings belong to you, and even if it was for a few
minutes letting someone else be in control of monitoring your work-
related devices would go against company policy. Cyber security will
always be threatened by hackers in this day and age. The employee
should immediately contact someone in their technical dept to report
the missing device. And then let their supervisor know the details of
what has happened. a Many people under the same company display a
different level of ethical behavior and may or may not hold
themselves to the same ethical standards of the company. “An ethical
conflict occurs when an uncertainty, a question or a controversy
arises regarding competing ethical principles, personal values, or
organizational and professional ethical standards of practice”.

standards with that of your employer and knowing that if they do not
align it could jeopardize your job. a You may find it in the your best
