1. An online storefront would enable Hamp Crafts’ to engage with its customers on the
online platform. Customers could use it to create an account by using the shipping,
billing, and contact information. While managing customer orders, the business would
accept both debit and credit card transactions. An established credit card vendor service
would be responsible for receiving payments from customers. After the completion of the
transaction, the customers must receive a notification about their order status and
confirmation in their personal profile. Similarly, on the administrative end, Hamp Crafts’
must receive a notification of the transaction. The system must allow the customers to
check the status of their transactions under the order history section of their personal
account profile. For providing customer support, updating customer information, and the
business website, an administrative back-end must be created as well. There has to be
proper interconnectivity between the system elements such as customers, user, shopping
cart, order, shipping information, order details, and administration so that the online
business transaction can be carried out in a streamlined manner.
