I might do a PowerPoint on how alcohol has caused different health
issues with different slides explaining how and maybe add in
something about smoking and second hand smoke and the problems
they cause. Or add in about the unintentional deaths or injuries that
cause emergency rooms to be full. I could explain how dropping the
number of smokers or drinkers could change that outcome. I could
also add in the different strategies that my community has come up
with to help the people who need it. presentation I was to promote
improving life quality for just about everyone possible. My topic is
"Teen Pregnacy", in genral my statiscal information is local. I feel like
putting on a different attitude with positive vibes would be a good
place to start in finding solutions for adolescent parents. My plan is to
obtain a passing grade for the term. PLease excuse me if any of the
content is offensive. Having the ability to get demographics when it
comes to a target audience gives you the ability to make the
presentation relevant to them. My target audience would be from
twenty years old up to forty years old. The stats from Rhode Island
has shown that this is the age group that is most affected. Showing
slides that will help promote resources is a key role in a presentation
when trying to get people to seek help. I would consider reaching out
to non-profits and churches to see if they would want to be apart of
the presentation and include their input and contact information. I
would also consider finding some people from the community who
are still in the process of getting help and have them do a Q. & A. with
the audience or make a short video explaining their story to help get
people to relate.
