There are so many new things I have learned so far when it comes to this class! When I
initially thought of the word community health, the first thing that popped into my mind was a
specific group of people and the health issues that they often deal with. The state of a specific
group of people's health as well as the policies and practices that support, safeguard, and
maintain that health is what our textbook defines community health as. Community health is also
“activities that are aimed at protecting or improving the health of a population or community”
(Seabert et al., 2021). There are also several different factors that could affect the health of a
community, such as physical, social and cultural, community organization, and individual
behaviors.
I used to believe that health instructors only worked in hospitals, health organizations,
and schools before taking the quiz. I discovered that in order to encourage good health among
their personnel, they may additionally work for businesses and even become incorporations. One
of the numerous things that can have an impact on health is stress. If they lack the time for the
gym, the teachers can encourage stress reduction or even exercise while they're on the job. I
mistakenly believed that communities were the same thing. Since public health is primarily
concerned with society and making sure that individuals may live in healthy settings, people can
help promote, defend, and maintain health.
How to best engage marginalized communities, how to best tailor messages to diverse
cultural groups, how to measure behavior change most effectively, how to balance human being
and systemic interventions, and how to tackle the impact of social variables of health on health
education outcomes are some of the important questions that still surround community health
education; The long-term viability of programs, the function of technology in distribution, and

the best ways to push for legislative changes that promote community health initiatives could all
be the subject of future inquiries.
