“Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is when a business takes into
account its overall impact socially, economically, and
environmentally, and launches initiatives to ensure its positive
impact” (Aswell, 2019).
Taking into consideration CSR can definitely have a big impact on any
company or business. For my service or company, the CSR initiatives
we are going to promote are engaging in charity work and investing in
environmentally conscious businesses. Charity work will be a great
way to reach those clients unable to pay for the service despite really
needing it. In addition, as we are going to work with multiple suppliers
and other companies, our main objective is to ensure they are aware
of the environmental impact they are producing.
To achieve positive results with my project team, I plan to first get to
know them. It would be easier to develop programs and rewards if I
know what they pursue. However, setting clear goals and objectives
is imperative because we also need to develop, engage, and attract. I
would also ensure to be provided with the right training and tools
needed for the job.
