Trust and respect

The contemporary cultural issue present in nursing is rust and respect. Developing and

implementing treatment plans for any patient can be difficult if they do not trust you. Getting to know

the patients on a personal level can improve one's ability to treat them and may even provide light on

their motivations and values. They may be reluctant to trust anyone or undergo further therapy because

they have had bad experiences in the past with medical professionals like doctors and nurses. Asking

patients questions and actively listening to their responses is an excellent way to earn their trust.

Finding a translator to help you communicate with your patient is a must if he or she has trouble
