Deliverable 4 - Kingston-Bryce Communication Plan
Communication plays a vital role in projects. For this to be successful, communication needs to
be clear and effective. The project manager must make sure of this to ensure that the team understands
their roles and responsibilities, and make sure everything gets done in a timely manner. As project
manager for Kingston-Bryce Limited, I have developed a communication plan that will outline my
strategies and plan for all communication taking place.
To begin with, I have a project kick-off email in place to send out to all the team members. This
is important because it will have the guidelines for the projects and is a jump start to get everyone
informed. This will include a quick project summary, team members, stakeholders, and the duration of
this project. Next, there will be the project summary updates. These are essential so that if any of the
stakeholders cannot be present for the meetings, they can get up to date and still give beneficial input
towards the project. Lastly, I will have the project closing executive summary, this will be drawn up once
the project has come to completion and will summarize the effectiveness of the project and make
comparisons on the time and budget goals vs. how long it took. (Pinto, 2018)
