Deliverable 7 - JBH Project Plan
Business Case
This project is for JBH Software Solutions, and I will be the senior project manager. This project
aims for a total system upgrade for the customer service area. Data has been collected from customer
surveys and it shows heavily that they are dissatisfied with the customer service. Due to so many issues
with customer service, customers have been getting very escalated. As a result, the systems need to be
updated.
Risk Mitigation Plan
For this project, there may be a few risks that arise throughout it, and they all should be handled
with caution. The project will be closely monitored, and in turn, it will be easy to see any risks that may
arise. As the project manager, I will implement strategies to reduce risk. In doing so, this should minimize
any disturbance from potential risks. The following steps will be taken to make sure the risks are
managed: ensure a risk management plan is in place, communicate potential risks, prioritize and analyze
the risks, and respond immediately to any risk responses.
Communication Plan
We will be using multiple forms of communication throughout this project. We will have monthly
face-to-face meetings, weekly video chat meetings, and updates through e-mails. The monthly in-person
meetings will be to update everyone on the progress of the project and how we are doing on budget and
time. The weekly video chat meetings will be per department to get a more in-depth check-in and see if
improvements are needed. Emails will be sent for announcements.

Scope Statement
There will be multiple stages throughout the project: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring,
and closing. After realizing why the project is necessary, which in this case is the customer service issues,
then we can develop a strategy and plan. When a plan is established, it will have a timeline with due
dates, and resources available for the project. The monthly meetings and weekly video chats will be
crucial to make sure that the project process is going smoothly and what the next steps are. The project
will be monitored by me and will be finished once the new system update is completed, tested, and
approved.
Scorecard
We will have a scorecard to monitor the project's progress. This will allow us to see if the project
is on time, ahead, or falling behind. As the project manager, I will oversee filling out this scorecard and
will go over it at our monthly face-to-face meetings.

Methodologies & Tools
The main methodology that will be used for this project is the Waterfall methodology. This
method will be beneficial to this project because it will allow us to collect and analyze what is required.
The Waterfall methodology is used when a solution is made by implementing a resolution to fix a
problem. The tools that will be used throughout this project are a calendar for all employees to be aware
of schedules, a timeline so we can track progress, and a pert chart to track the implementation of tasks.
