RESEARCH PAPER: ABSTRACT, OUTLINE, AND FULL BIBLIOGRAPHY
Abstract
This paper will explain God’s standard on abortion, and what does the Bible say about those who
commit such act as sinners. For the past 47 years since the legalization of abortion in the United
States, both consecutive and liberal politicians have strongly criticized the system for not doing
too much to save the unborn, or for doing too little to prevent the infringement on women’s
reproductive right. Both have argued their reasons why abortion should remain legal, while the
other argued why it should be illegal. Nevertheless, where God stands on the topic is more
important than where liberals and consecutives stand. Even though this paper will present
statistics acquired from secular media use by the author concerning where he stands on the issue
that will be discuss, this paper does not focus on the political aspect of the debate of abortion
being legal or illegal, but instead on the biblical side of the topic concerning where God stands
on the topic, and why does God consider abortion to be sin. As Christian, the Bible is the
standard for everyday living, and examining ethical issue like abortion should always be look at
from God’s perspective, which is the Bible.
