After reviewing this study there were a couple of strengths that stood out. First, the articles
cited were relevant to the study, which made the discussion section easy to understand.
Secondly, the table and figure used are easy to read and correctly changed from color to
grayscale as stated in Section 7.26 in the APA manual(American Psychological Association,
2020).
There was also a few errors, stated below, that can be easily fixed by the author.
1. The reference section should start with a new page break bringing the reference title to the
top of the page instead of the middle as stated in Section 2.12 in the APA manual (American
Psychological Association, 2020).
2. Figure 1 should be called out within the text or cited as stated in Section 7.5 of the APA
manual, instead it is randomly stated making it confusing with how the figure is related to
the text (American Psychological Association, 2020).
3. The results section should come before the discussion section, following the layout
described in the video presentation for this week (St. Peters, M., 2021).
After reviewing your study, I was able to find some strengths regarding your study. The first
strength was that the articles that you shared within your study were relevant and helpful
while discussing the relationship between religion, anxiety, and depression. The articles
enhanced your study from the survey results and helped create a strong discussion. The
second strength was that your table and figure were easy to read and understand. However, I
did stumble across to find some errors within your study. The first error was that I did not
see that you called out the figure within your text based on the APA manual. Due to the
figure not being mentioned within the text; it appears confusing because the figure is not

discussed within the paragraphs that correlate the study together. Therefore, I would suggest
writing a few sentences that discuss the figure and correlate with your discussion. The second
error that I found was that there were a few grammar errors when discussing the percentages
among the participants. I would suggest rewriting the percentages to flow appropriately
within your discussion and checking the APA manual to correct these sentences. The third
error that I found was the results section should appear before the discussion. I would
suggest looking over the layout based on the video presentation to appropriately correct the
layout of the paper
