God and the C.I.A
It all started with “In the beginning God…” and it goes on from there. But in the
beginning when God was creating the Earth, He wanted to create something that praised and
brought glory to Him. The animals could not praise him, but they do show His magnificent work
which causes us to praise Him, so God created man. Adam Gifford in his lecture on natural
theology says, “Humans are like God because God has a human appearance, they walk upright as
he does, and exactly in this way they differ from the animals.”
1God created human kind to be in
His image as it says in Genesis 1:27. God didn’t just create on type of human, He created two
genders, male and female and they were both made in the image of God. As we are made in the
image of God as Millard Erickson said on page 179 it was a, “purposeful act by an intelligent,
infinite person.” As we are made in God’s image we are all unique and able to be eternal in

heaven as Jesus Christ is eternal on the right hand of God. We are created and are not alone. We
did not create ourselves, so our thought process should be why were we created and what
purpose do we have since we are alive. We are distinct from all other creation because we are all
made uniquely and in the image of our Creator. God made us to rule over the earth and gave us
permission to kill animals to eat and to use as clothing but to not kill other humans that are also
made in the image of Him. As humans, we are not made without specific design and thought,
God loves everyone and everything in His creation even if that creation rejects the Creator.
