Step 1: Descriptive Paragraph: Final Draft
Definition orDescriptiveParagraph: Final Draft Assignment Instructions.
The Pirates of the Caribbean at Disney is the best ride in Disney because of all the smells and attention
to detail. At the beginning of the ride, you are loaded into boats that quickly whisk you away into a
dark cave. The cave is dark and ominous; you can feel a cold mist lightly hitting your face. Once you go
around the corner, there's a large Pirate ship. The ship is firing cannons at the villagers in the distance,
and you can smell the black powder used by the artillery and hear the cannon balls splashing the
water. The water your boat travels in has a smell to it; it smells like rocks and minerals. Once you
enter the village, you meet villagers running around and pirates chasing them, and there's a hint of
fresh bread baking. You can start to notice a faint smell of smoke in the air. When you're at the
halfway point of the ride, you come upon another village overrun by pirates, and the town is enraged
with fire and the smell of soot in the air. The smoke smell is not overwhelming, but you can even start
tasting the soot floating around. At the end of the ride, you see captain jack sparrow in a room filled
with shiny gold.
