With our world ever evolving, one aspect of life that has drastically changed is shopping. Clothing
shopping has changed exponentially over the years, with more businesses profiting in online sales, just
based on convenience, item availability, and price. In some cases, business may hold sales that are
exclusively for their online store front resulting in a larger discount overall. They almost always offer a
coupon code that can be exclusively used for online purchases. Unfortunately for those who prefer to
shop in-store, one can be looking at paying full sticker price. Another benefit to shopping online is the
wide variety of items and their sizes. It can be difficult to find an item that you prefer in your size range
when one is shopping in-person due to stock availability in that specific store. When one shops online, the
clothing they are purchasing comes from that company’s warehouse so there is more availability to get
the desired item. One drawback to shopping online is probably the most obvious: availability. Online
shopping is a gamble when it comes to receiving your purchases in a timely manner as there is no
guarantee when exactly they will arrive. When you shop in-person, and if you are lucky enough to find
something desirable, you can take home the item purchased the same day. Although the digital e-
commerce world is opening larger discounts with more convenient shopping, some people may still
choose to shop in person for their clothing, so they are getting exactly what they want.
