Teachers Have Confidence to Implement the Principles,
Guidelines, and Checkpoints of Universal Design for Learning.
(2018).
2. Theoretical Framework The theoretical framework is that UDL is an inclusive
pedagogical framework that should break down barriers to
access to learning for all students. The Australian Curriculum
Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) named UDL as
the recommended framework to personalize learning to meet
the diverse learning needs of students. Teachers are expected to
ensure content descriptors in the Australian curriculum are
underpinned by UDL.
