Abstract
This evaluation of my career self-assessment is detailed through three assessment tools. These
assessments reveal my career interests in enterprising and social fields, emphasizing potential
roles in education administration and instructional coordination. Core values such as self-respect,
family, relationships, economic security, and religion are highlighted using the Value Sort
Activity. This assessment underlines the importance of balancing life and integrating these
values into a career. The Spiritual Discernment Decision-Making Factors Survey indicates a
preference for a pragmatic Christian wisdom approach, combining divine guidance with practical
reasoning. The career exploration evaluates the assessment tools’ suitability, readability,
reliability, and validity, and explores their congruence with personal connections perceptions.
The instructional coordinator career, based on my top 3 Holland types, is explored through the
lens of the nature of the work, working conditions, necessary qualifications, job opportunities,
economic benefits, disadvantages, and personal reflection. Lastly, ethical considerations are
detailed from a case scenario regarding counseling a 19-year-old Asian American dealing with
career-related stressors. Personal positions of influence, cultural competence, and ethical
counseling practice standards are evaluated. With all the assessment tools combined with
specific job exploration and ethical counseling considerations, I have better-informed career
decision-making through the awareness of my interests, values, needs, and desires in a future
