Evangelism Report 1
I had the opportunity to share the Gospel with a colleague, Nora, during a break at work.
Nora is my boss. We have worked together for several years and developed a good relationship.
We have become like family. One day, during our break, Nora shared with me that she had felt
lost because of some issues with her family and unfulfilled in life and was curious about my
faith. This book, Evangelism and the Sovereignty of God by J.I. Packer, explores the relationship
between evangelism and God's sovereignty.1 I shared my testimony and what God did in my life
with her and explained the Gospel message. I answered her questions about Jesus and salvation
and encouraged her to consider placing her faith in Christ.
After our conversation, Nora thanked me and said she would consider everything I
shared. A few days later, Nora approached me and told me that she had read the Gospel of John
and had been praying about what we had discussed. She asked me more questions about the
Christian faith and forgiveness, and we continued conversing about Jesus over the next few
weeks. I remained intentional in our conversations and continued to point her to Jesus as the only
way to salvation.
One day, Nora told me she had decided to follow Jesus and asked me to pray with her.
We prayed together, and I was overjoyed to see Nora place her faith in Christ. I continued to
meet with her to disciple her, help her grow in her faith, and receive healing from the past from
God. In sharing the Gospel with Nora, I was reminded of the Apostle Paul's words in 1
Corinthians 9:22, "I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might
save some." (1 Corinthians 9:22 NIV). I sought to be sensitive to Nora’s questions and needs as I
shared the Gospel with her. Additionally, I was reminded of the words of Jesus in John 14:6, "I

am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6
NIV) I emphasized to Nora that Jesus is the only way to salvation and that placing her faith in
Him was the only way to have a relationship with God.
Evangelism Report 2
As part of my local church's outreach ministry, I went on a mission with a partner to a
public park. We shared the Gospel with a young woman named Janet. We started to ask her
questions as I learned from the book Tactics: A Game Plan for Discussing Your Christian
Convictions by Greg Koukl - This book offers practical tips and strategies for engaging in
conversations about faith with non-believers.2 It helped me learn how to ask good questions,
identify faulty reasoning, and communicate effectively.3
Janet told us that she struggled with low self-esteem and felt no one around her accepted
her. I listened to J's story and shared with her the hope and freedom that comes through a
relationship with Jesus Christ. I shared the Gospel message with her and encouraged her to
consider placing his faith in Christ. Over the next few weeks, I continued to follow up with Janet
and invited her to attend our church's Friday young adult services. I also connected her with
members of our church's recovery ministry, who were able to provide her with additional support
and resources. During our follow-up conversations, Janet shared that he had decided to follow
Jesus and attended one of our Friday services. I was thrilled to hear about Janet's decision and
continue to disciple her in his newfound faith as she grows.
In sharing the Gospel with Janet, I was reminded of the Apostle Paul's words in 1
Corinthians 2:2, "For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and

him crucified." (1 Corinthians 2:2 NIV) I sought to keep the focus on the message of the Gospel
and the hope and freedom that come through a relationship with Jesus Christ. Additionally, I was
reminded of the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:28-30, "Come to me, all you who are weary and
burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle
and humble, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
(Matthew 11:28-30 NIV) with Janet that Jesus offers a way out of the burdens of addiction and a
path to true rest and peace.
Evangelism Report 3
As part of my personal discipleship group, I had the opportunity to share the Gospel with
a friend, Marina. Marina, I had been friends for several years and prayed for an opportunity to
share the Gospel with her. One day, Marina shared with me that she had been going through a
difficult time and was struggling with hopelessness. I listened to her story and shared with her
the hope that comes through a relationship with Jesus Christ. I shared the Gospel message with
her and encouraged her to consider placing her faith in Christ.
It is essential to build relationships and engage with people genuinely and authentically to
share their faith with others.4 Over the next few weeks, I continued to follow up with Marina and
invited her to attend our discipleship group meetings. We studied the Bible together and
discussed what it means to follow Jesus. I remained intentional in our conversations and
continued to point her to Jesus as the only way to salvation.
During one of our discipleship group meetings, Marina shared that she had decided to
follow Jesus and had placed her faith in Him. I was overjoyed to hear about Marina's decision
and will continue to disciple her as she grows in her newfound faith. In sharing the Gospel with

Marina, I was reminded of the Apostle Peter's words in 1 Peter 3:15, " "But in your hearts revere
Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the
reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect" (1 Peter 3:15 NIV). I
sought to be prepared to share the Gospel with Marina and do so gently and respectfully.
Additionally, I was reminded of the words of Jesus in John 10:10, "I have come that they may
have life, and have it to the full." (John 10:10 NIV) I shared with Marina that Jesus offers a way
to a full and abundant life, even amid difficult circumstances.
