Audra: The 2018 New River Region Future Business Leaders of America
Spring Conference will now come to order. (rap gavel once)
On behalf of your regional officers, I would like to welcome you to our annual
spring leadership conference. We hope you are looking forward to a very
exciting day. Not only will officers be elected for the coming year, but the results
of the competitive events will be announced.
I am sure we can all agree that this school year has gone by quickly. After our
fall conference, I attended the State Executive Board and Task Force Meeting in
Richmond. There I worked with the rest of the state officer team planning our
State Leadership Conference to be held in Reston. My year has been filled with
monthly reports, conferences, and many, many e-mails. I’m sure that most of
you have been just as busy with your local chapters during activities,
fundraising, service projects, and competitions. Everyone present today should
be proud to have been a vital part of another successful year for the New River
Region Future Business Leaders of America.
