Disscusion Questions

This week we will discuss instantiating objects from classes. When posting your response, where possible, try to post something different that another student hasn't posted already. Try and provide an example that will help further distinguish your response.

Please respond to all of the following prompts:

• What is the concept of information hiding?
• What is the relationship between class and struct, and how do they differ?

Lab Activity

1. You will write a program defining a class. You will continue to build on this program in the next few weeks. This program will make use of stings, an integer and constructors.
• To complete this activity, please refer to: Programming Problems 11.1, page 487, #4.

1. You will write a C++ program. This program will require you to add methods to the Week 3 program you'll create.
• To complete this activity, please refer to: Programming Problems 11.2, pages 495, #4.
