Review of Week 1

Last week we looked at a historical perspective of globalization.  In the chapters, we learned about the differences between global realism and liberalism.   This included readings from Kant, Machiavelli and Hobbs, each important in their own right.

We moved on to global development, focusing our attention after WWII.  Theories, such as modernization theory were created.   None of them were perfect.  The world was changing too quickly as colonized countries like India wanted and won independence.  There was then, and th
