Be sure to read the entire article as the authors do an excellent job of pairing multiple visions with the real world of school. There is a great activity at the bottom of the page that you might like to use with your staff "of the future."

Christine was the new principal who discovered her assistant principal needed some help along the lines of "customer service." As you read the scenario at the beginning of this article from "Educational Leadership," would you have handled the situation with the assistant principal differently from Christine? If so, what would you have changed and why?
