profilepinsta1

Write a 750-1,000 -word paper in which you translate your course learning into a personal leadership development plan. Your plan should define a strategy for maximizing your leadership effectiveness.

Include the following in your paper:

  • Identify leadership theory(ies) to support your leadership development plan. You must integrate theory with citations from the literature to illustrate why the theory you chose supports your plan.
  • Discuss your leadership strengths and weaknesses and a plan to capitalize on your strengths and modify your weaknesses. Please support your discussion of strengths and weaknesses with your scores from the self-assessments.
  • Identify gaps between the leader you are now and the leader you would like to become
  • Discuss how you will use your plan to impact your leadership, your followers, and your organization.
  • Discuss how you will assess and modify your plan to ensure you are on track.

Consider your plan not just a paper to satisfy course requirements, but a living, working document.

Use a minimum of five references to support your synthesis. References should be peer-reviewed sources from the University Library and not textbooks, newspapers, magazines, dictionaries, or non-scholarly websites.

Format your paper consistent with APA guidelines, which includes:

-       Properly formatted title page

-       Organize the discussion by using subheadings reflecting the main topics discussed; remember the introduction does not have a subheading

-       Properly formatted in-text citations

-       Properly formatted references per APA guidelines

-       First person is acceptable for this paper, but minimize the use of first and second person.

-       Avoid the usage of words on the 'list of words to avoid'

-       Refer to the writing materials provided under the Class Message titled 'Writing Tips'
