PSYCHOLOGY HOMEWORK

  A researcher claims that students who play chess have higher average SAT scores than students in the general population. A random sample of 75 students who play chess is tested and has a mean SAT score of 1,070. The population average SAT score is 1,000 ( o = 200).  At α = 0.05 level, is there sufficient evidence to support the researcher’s claim? Use a one-tailed z-test for Mean.
