delivery of their services within the broader governmental structure. Write

a 2-3 page paper (excluding cover page) that explains the various ways fire

departments can be organized.

services 

The two common functional divisions in the context of the fire service's

overarching goals.

Explain how these approaches to organizing fire services are both similar

to, and different from, approaches to organizing for-profit businesses. 

Explain whether the differences between the fire service and common

for-profit organizational models are a result of the special nature of

emergency services, fire service traditions, or both
