 The authors suggest: “your skills are the currency to the job market.  The more you have and the better you are at describing them, the greater your opportunities will be”..(page 93)  Review the list of transferable skills of a college graduate on page 91.  Complete your journal writing identifying your own transferable skills.  Think of a time when you developed or demonstrated that skill in school, during a past or present job, or during your leisure activities.   What skills do you believe you need to further develop?  What steps might you take to further enhance skills that need more work?  Finally, how do those skills relate to the career path you are considering?
