Q.1. Why should a business manager be moral? after all this is a capitalistic society so the goal is to make profit, right? So how can a manager exercise morality and maximize profit when temptation is there to pursue self-interests?
Q.2. After reading the short case on Procter & Gamble 5.1, please respond:
So where do loyalties lie? with shareholders or with the stakeholders?
Remember: each stakeholder has their own needs and goals....while shareholders (also a stakeholder) have one thing in mind: PROFIT!
Please provide your reasoning when responding to this question.
