Presenting and Defending Policy Proposals
Defending Your Policy Proposal
I will do the video. a video presentation summary of the policy proposal you created from last week’s Discussion. Be sure to incorporate feedback from your colleagues. Make sure that your summary presentation provides a solid rationale for the passage of your policy, using reputable sources from experts in the field. This should be a simulation of a summary presentation you would make to “real-world” policy leaders, so make sure you are succinct and informative. You can include any visual aids that you think help your presentation.

Policy proposal
According to the case of Jose on working with the aging, there are proposals on how to implement the project into real existence. Since the aging seems to be minority in the society, the government is expected to be on the forefront in the championing of their enjoyment in life (Martiniuk et al., 2015). The criteria used in conducting research on the aging might look difficult, but appropriate procedures should be put in place towards ensuring the process represents a true picture of the society. A typical feature of aging is that it has its influence on both the career of an individual, the family and the society at large. Major areas of great importance during aging are presented to the general authorities for execution. Through the experience that is accorded to institutions that handle the issue, there is always a mentality of positive feedback from various panels. The negative side of it all is that however predictive measures may be put in place for aging concerns, the outcome may at some time tend to remain constant contrary to the expectations (Zaidi et al., 2018). But in severe instances, it is only through the selection of experts that will to help in several settings and come up with designs that will ensure implementation of programs that run effectively. After correct analysis on the aging, the relevant institutions should be put to task on ensuring that the aging benefit from the relevant schemes in the society. This is only possible planning for the future by initializing the habit of saving at productive age.
Policy proposal will be relevant, especially in the workforce environment. There are individuals who are deemed very resourceful thus have to be sustained to assist in the realization of plans. This will help in ensuring that there is a good proportion in the representation of labor industry (Thakkar & Sullivan, 2017). Another issue was on the minimization of expenditure on health-related issues especially due to aging which means there will less retirement due to age factor causing less strain to finances by the government. It is also purposeful on improvement of life expectancy, in that when appropriate measures have been put in place on the improvement of life thus enabling future planning for each individual.
The trade-off is about achieving a proper transition to aging in the set targets. The aging in the society is a plan that is initiated to secure good living and improvement of life expectancy (Walker, 2016). Economic sustainability is an important issue since it highlights much on the workforce provided by experienced individuals who are of productive age. The workforce is determined by population which is healthy and strong. Economic policies and improvement in life expectancy can be reconciled by relevant institutions, and both of them can be sustainable.
In conclusion, healthy aging is of great importance towards the achievement of visions of society. Policies that focus on promotion and prevention when it comes to life expectancy should be highly incorporated. The government should invest in projects such pension schemes for each individual to offer savings that are beneficial during the aging period. Health focus must continue to be of central concern, and without active policy intervention there will be uncertainty in life expectancy.
According to Jose's case, I recommend on the lowering of cost of health care and betterment of services provided to ensure that the less fortunate are not stressed by the health burden to a great extent. I also recommend on the idea of cost sharing on the provision of health services provided by the state so that more resources are allocated to its sector as much as other sectors. The health insurance policies for the ageing group of individuals in the society should be made compulsory for subscriptions to the plan.
