Data Analytics Video Exercise

2.  Download and open the "alumni" excel dataset from Canvas

The hyperlink to this dataset (and all other datasets used in the class) is located in the "read me first" module. The hyperlink opens a  google drive folder named "Marketing Research Datasets"

Make sure you save the excel file to your computer and then resave often while working on it.

3. Create new column variables -- one for academics and one for intramural

Use an if/then statement to recode the data for those columns so that scores 1-4 are recoded as 1 and scores 5-7 are recoded as 2 in the two new variables.
