Create an Infographic and 2 page research on the Great Depression and Urban Conditions

This assignment combines sociological research, the text with the creation and dissemination of a sociological infographic. An infographic is generally defined as data visualization with an emphasis on design, readability, and information usually contains pictures, maps, and or charts. 

Students will select a topic from pages 199 - 230  (readings in attachment) and complete an infographic addressing: 

-The phases of transitions 

-Time frame of developments

-Growth or decline that occurred

-Significance to the community country

Note: 

-Students are to write a reflective paper (MLA - 2 Pages),  accompanying the infographic.  The reflective paper  will both describe and reflect your understanding, present your analysis of the topic and include your supporting data and sources. You should use a minimal of 4 academic sources. 

-I encourage you to utilize the library online search for peer reviewed and scholarly articles. The is an online orientation for the library in canvas that may prove very useful.

Grading:

Inforgraphic: 3-4 point(Visually appealing, easy to read and comprehend. It must be organized and balanced between information.

2 points-Meets expectations but with some omission

1-0- Does not meet expectation

Paper: 6-5 points (Topic, informs and discuss clearly the information) and use of academic data and information.

4-3- Meets exceptions, but some omission

2-Below expectation many omissions and errors.
