what is your opinion of rebates? Does that entice you to purchase a product and do you always complete the paperwork so you will receive your rebate? I have talked to managers in retail establishments and I was surprised that rebates do entice people to purchase a product, but the majority of people who made the purchase due to the rebate offer, never fill out the necessary paperwork to receive it. 

That is a win/win for the seller because the rebate promotion helped to make the sale but the rebate was never paid.
