The four functions of management have a distinct impact on every organization. Each function guides a specific portion of the organization, and each function is interrelated to one another. The functions of management apply to every organization and can look slightly different depending on the organization. While understanding the four functions of management seem simple, the complexities of each function can be exhausting to keep running efficiently in an organization.

Instructions

Develop a pamphlet for each of the functions of management using Word.doc or PowerPoint slides. (4 pamphlets) Include the following in each pamphlet.

· Define each of the functions. (One pamphlet for each function)

· Prepare a scenario for each of the functions within an organization.

· Discuss an example for the function used for innovation or change.

Each theory has a set of principles and when applied correctly the organization improves.

This assignment builds on the learning activity for this week. Reference the content in your theories template. Choose three of the theories and write your paper including the following:

· Theory Name, theorist, and brief history.

· How will the theory be applied to a company of your choice

· How the theory will change the workplace for employees.

Managers know that weekly team meetings are vital for progressing through projects. Communication with teams is essential for meeting organizational success. Research shows that well developed teams help employees to be more productive, committed, and satisfied. Chapter 12 discussed the importance of teams and the videos for the week provide examples for today’s environment.

Instructions

For this assignment your purpose of the meeting will be to develop team cohesion, communication, bonding, and motivation. Keep communication in mind as you develop the meeting. There are two parts to the assignment. Upload both parts of the assignment for this week’s work.

Part 1: Develop the meeting and write it down in a transcript. (1-2 pages)

Part 2: Present the meeting in a video using Kaltura, PowerPoint, or another compatible program. (5-7 minutes)
