Background

Many theories and theorists have been discussed in Chapter 2 of your reading this week. Management has been scrutinized, dissected, and put back together in many ways throughout history. Understanding these theories is paramount in the field of management. The learning activity is focused on discussing theories and how the theory has been applied in the workplace.  

Instructions

Use the template provided for Module 1  and choose five theories to discuss. Update all columns in the template with your information. Review the videos below to expand your knowledge about theories as well as chapter 1 and 2 reading. Consider any of these examples: Classical Theory, Behavioral Approach, Scientific Management Theory, Mayo’s Principals, and others you learned about. Theorists’ examples are Taylor, Fayol, Weber, and Drucker. You can choose from any discussed this week. Review the videos below to expand your knowledge about theories.
