Each participant will formulate a research topic for a final paper of 

15-20 pages.  The paper may further develop the themes discussed in our 

sessions, or it may take examples and themes we did not cover.  Topics are 

not limited to the list below; however, they must be approved by instructor.

Citation of Sources

Term papers must include appropriate scholarly documentation in the 

form of footnotes or endnotes, a bibliography, and a list of illustrations.

Chicago Manual of Style

for proper format.

Illustrations

Papers should include illustrations relevant to your text.  Please 

provide a figure number and caption for each illustration.  A list of 

illustrations should be provided.  Illustrations should be attached to the end 

of the paper.
