Argumentative Research Essay

 write a 1600-2000 word Argumentative Research Essay in which you make a claim about your topic and support it with ample research and solid reasoning.  Utilize at least six sources to help in your argument, and half of these sources should be scholarly or academic in nature.  

Your goal is to sway a reader to your way of thinking or convince them to do something.  There should be a clear argument at the start of the essay that you then support throughout.  A portion of the essay will likely be needed to educate the reader on the topic, this is primarily an argumentative essay.  

Remember to consider counterarguments as well, and offer rebuttals to them.  A proper argument will address the oppositions' points of view.

Be sure to cite all sources and end with a Works Cited page that uses up to date MLA formatting.
