FEED BACK FROM SLP 1

You did a great job in writing your Module 1 SLP assignment. You provided a clear picture of the purpose of ASU and how the EOSS department supports student success and engagement. The impact of not having aligned institutional departmental mission statements was outlined with detailed rationale.

The only observed issue was some aspects of your paper did not contain scholarly writing, due to short three sentence paragraphs. Scholarly paragraphs should be between five to seven sentences. For future papers you can make your writing scholarly by adding more details, incorporating a reference, sharing professional experience, or look to combine paragraphs.

Conduct a brief interview with a leader within the higher education department under study. The purpose of the interview is to identify an organizational problem that is affecting the department. Provide a brief explanation of the problem and any challenges to overcoming the problem (e.g., stakeholders, governance, or budget).

Your completed SLP 2 should be 3 to 4 pages.
