Introduction

to_dd promote_dd social justice_dd _dd and_dd equality._dd These_dd workers_dd
mainly work_dd _dd with_dd vulnerable_dd members_dd of_dd society_dd and_dd
make sure_dd _dd that_dd their_dd needs_dd are met,_dd _dd and_dd their_dd quality_dd
of life_dd _dd is_dd improved._dd It_dd is_dd argued_dd that_dd the_dd
contributions made_dd _ by_dd social_dd workers_dd are_dd immense_dd (Payne,_dd
2020). Social_dd _dd workers_dd can_dd help_dd to_dd tackle_dd diverse_dd issues_dd
that exist_dd _d in_dd society_dd such_dd as_dd poverty,_dd homelessness,_dd
mental health_dd _dd issues,_dd etc._dd by_dd assessing_dd the_dd specific_dd needs_dd
of individuals,_dd _dd families,_dd and_dd other_dd members_dd of_dd communities._dd
However, a_dd _dd major_dd barrier_dd that_d may_dd arise_dd before social_dd _dd
workers and_dd _dd impede_dd their_dd ability_dd to_dd contribute_dd to_dd society_dd
and_dd its_dd members_dd includes_dd social_dd injustice_dd and_dd inequality._dd
It _ has_dd been_dd identified_dd that_dd the_dd lack_dd of_dd social_dd justice_dd
in_dd the_dd social_dd work_dd setting_dd has_dd the_dd potential_dd to_dd give_dd
rise_dd to_dd complex_dd issues_dd such_dd as_dd exclusion_dd and unfairness_dd _dd
