When developing a plan of action in regard to addressing traumatic situation, it would be
appropriate if human service organizations used a trauma-informed approach where the proper and
appropriate knowledge as well as understanding in regards to trauma and its implications are
prioritized. The use of a trauma-informed approach can also assist with being able to identify the wide
