I get most of my news through social media. After I read the story I do google to see
if the story is correct. I come from a small town. We only get the local headlines. I
live in between Chicago and Milwaukee. I am closer to Milwaukee and my county is
in Wisconsin. I must admit I do watch the news , but we still only get them headlines
so, I do verify everything I see on social media.
The best way a citizen can get involved with the governmental process is by voting
in the local election. You involve critical thinking by voting for the best candidate
that would be good for your community.
In the Arby's commercial they show a fish sandwich bigger than McDonald's Fish
Fillet sandwich. Critical thinking come in when the consumer decide who got the best
deal for their money.
My best concept of this class is learning about social errors and biases. The reason is
because it definitely taught me what I as a person was doing wrong. I also liked
learning about the different parts of an argument. It is so many parts I need to
concentrate more on.
