How do emotions positively and negatively influence critical thinking?
Emotions are a part of everyday life the positive critical thinking mindset help me
think deeply about my justification and evidence for and against a given choices that
I must make. Negative critical thinking is a thought-out process where I think to find
the worst in my decisions. Negative thinking is also no begin critical or criticizing.
Describe how you balance your emotion and reason when making decisions. Include
an example of when you had to use both.
Emotions can affect not just nature of decisions but the speed in which I make my
decisions. When I am angry it can lead to me impatience, and very rash decision-
making. Like when I’m feeling afraid my decisions are clouded and I just got with my
first mindset. When I’m thinking positive my decisions are not make so rapidly and I
think though my decisions .
Ch. 3 of THiNK: Critical Thinking and Logic Skills for Everyday Life covers the topic of
language and communication, which also play a role in critical thinking. Explain the
role of communication in critical thinking and provide an example of a time when
and how language or communication influenced your critical thinking. Critical
thinking help us when it comes to responding the correct way in given context
before reacting. When it comes to communication listening plays a very important
role.0Like when I call to pay my bills the reps on the phone I couldn't understand her
because of her language I got upset as asked to speak to someone different.0
Reflect on the learning activities, concepts, ideas, and topics covered this week.
What is the most interesting activity or concept you learned this week? Mention any
concepts that are still a bit confusing to you or that you have questions about. I
would say is nonverbal language because with me most of people always try to
figure me out by my0body language or tone of voice, when interpreting someone’s
communication.
