After getting over how difficult it was to navigate WileyPlus in the beginning, I could
appreciate the way that it has thought me to learn. I really appreciate knowing that if
I didn't understand something i could go back to that subject and study it a little
more, give it more focus than what I have already grasped. The objectives I scored
the least on were the consider opportunity cost and marginal effects and calculate
present value of funds. This let me know that I need to start preparing more for the
future.
Learning about compound interest, opportunity costs and all the other topics from
week one let me know that I am somewhat out of my depth when it comes to
economics and finances. I have so much to learn and understand about these topics,
but I am hopeful that at the end of this class, I will have a better understanding and
be able to prepare for my future better.
Using the calculator I started with $2,000 in the savings account. In 10 years 1 would
have around $8,000 and in 20 years it would be around 14,000 and in 30 years it
would be above 20,000.
