My writing confidence after taking this class has improved. I write everyday for work
so it does help when you take a class that can boost confidence daily. I do admit I
still need more practice and will continue to do so. I am able to really put my mind to
things before writing it down on paper and sending it off. I am able to proofread over
my mistakes and others whenever possible. For example, at work we send a lot of
email notifications to residents. Before they are sent off my manager always ask for
a second eye. I have been able to find simple typos by just her letting me proofread
and she always appreciates that. Not everyone is perfect. Sometimes when we are
pressed for time we tend to rush. I know with all that is going on these days we have
been rushing with notifying everyone and keeping them up to date but I am
definitely more careful when sending out those notifications. I would hate for
someone to read it and not understand what I am trying to say. All that I have
learned should help me with my final essay, especially proofreading and making sure
things make sense.
