Module Five- Discussion
Southern New Hampshire University
My personal mission statement serves as a constant reminder of who I aspire to become,
keeping me motivated throughout my academic journey. Short-term goals act as achievable
milestones, providing a sense of accomplishment that fuels my motivation to strive for more
significant achievements. After that as you see that aligning daily activities with my goals
involves consciously choosing behaviors and actions that directly contribute to my short-term
objectives. For example, dedicating specific time slots for focused study sessions, participating
actively in class discussions, and seeking additional resources to enhance my understanding.
Being vulnerable and open-minded in goal-setting allows me to consider diverse perspectives
and ideas. By embracing vulnerability, I cultivate a richer understanding of my objectives.
Considering others in the process ensures that my goals align with not just personal ambitions
but also contribute positively to the community, fostering a more meaningful and impactful
journey. Vulnerability plays a crucial role in problem-solving by encouraging openness to new
ideas and admitting when assistance is needed. When I allow myself to be vulnerable, I create a
collaborative environment, facilitating more effective and creative solutions to challenges. It
enables me to learn from others, adapt strategies, and approach problem-solving with humility,
ultimately leading to more robust and sustainable solutions.
